Matthew Wasserman joined Defrees & Fiske as an associate in November of 2005. He concentrates his practice in litigation, corporate law, intellectual property and commercial law.

Prior to joining Defrees & Fiske as an associate, Mr. Wasserman worked as a law clerk for the firm while attending law school.

Mr. Wasserman is a member of the American, Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations and the Decalogue Society of Lawyers. Mr. Wasserman also volunteers for the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic, a pro bono legal aid organization. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Wasserman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University in 2002 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005.
