Kenneth A. von Kluck, Member, concentrates in health and hospital law including advising and counseling research protection programs and institutional review boards. He is also advises with regard to all aspects of real estate transactions and advises and represents tax exempt organizations and trade associations.
Mr. von Kluck has served as outside counsel to a major teaching hospital and provides advice to all variety of providers of health care and services. He also provides advice regarding the purchase, sale, leasing or other matters relating to real property used for industrial, commercial or office purposes. Mr. von Kluck serves as outside counsel to various tax exempt organizations, including trade associations.
Mr. von Kluck provides consulting services to institutional review boards and research programs involving human subjects. Mr. von Kluck has considerable expertise in these issues and in many areas of research compliance and the applicable law and regulations. KAvK has substantial experience in helping clinical investigators, research institutions, and IRBs to interpret and comply with clinical research requirements. Mr. von Kluck has served for eight years as a community member of an institutional review board operated by a research institute affiliated with an 800 bed teaching hospital. Mr. von Kluck has been a member of PRIM&R+ARENA for the same period of time and has attended the annual conferences of that organization. KAvK is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Society of Law and Medical Ethics.
