Edward J. Griffin has practiced law with Defrees & Fiske since 1959, concentrating in litigation and utility regulation. He has been a member of the firm's Executive Committee since the 1980's and served as its Chairman from 1990 to January, 2000.
Mr. Griffin has extensive experience representing regulated utilities, primarily electric, gas, and water utilities, and has counseled these clients in all aspects of their operations.
Mr. Griffin is a member of the Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations. He received a LL.B. degree from the Notre Dame Law School and a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He was a law clerk for the Hon. Roger J. Kiley of the Illinois Appellate Court for the First District.
